On Being “Normal”

This meme made me think about all that we are facing these days, especially with our beleaguered Earth’s health (which is inextricably tied to our health).

It takes courage to throw off “normal” and embrace activism, but if we don’t work to solve the world’s problems, who will?

X and Os to all,

    The heat waves…the fires…

    • I’ve been thinking about it every single day, Tricia. 😦 There was a time, not long ago, when something of this magnitude would be on the news all day every single day and we would be organizing to DO SOMETHING as a people, as a planet.

  2. Love it, Sandra. It really takes courage to be different. Whether we’re creating art, or just by wanting to clean up the environment, we risk being marginalized, ignored, ridiculed, and ostracized. Daring to be different and going against the status quo takes guts. Perhaps one has to learn not to care about what mediocre people think. 🙂
